The
TSR-PF100 is a heavy duty, high capacity
powder feeder that was designed specifically
to accommodate the high spray rates of the
Quasar spray system; however it is fully
compatible with all other thermal spray
processes such as plasma spraying, HVOF,
cold spray, and other industrial
applications. The feeder is very reliable as
it does not have wearing seals.
The TSR-HP powder feeder is a pressurized
unit operating on a volumetric principle
that directly controls the powder feed rate
by the speed of a metering wheel. Brushed
off the wheel, the powder falls into a
powder collector, from which it is picked up
by a flow of carrier gas and delivered to
the spray gun through a powder hose. A
special device prevents leakage of the
powder when the wheel rotation is stopped
while still allowing carrier gas flow.
