The PF100WL is a heavy duty, high capacity powder feeder that is designed for use with thermal spray processes such as plasma spraying, HVOF/HVAF and Cold Spray, utilizing weight-loss principle for measuring actual powder flow rate. The volumetric feed principle directly controls the powder feed rate by the speed of the metering wheel, while load cells continuously read the exact current powder load, and a controller calculates the actual feed rate with a high accuracy. The feeder is designed without any wearing seals and therefore provides highly reliable operation with no degradation over time, permitting consistent, pulse-free feeding of all thermal spray powders. PF100WL uses an intuitive touch screen interface; the feed rate is displayed in both imperial and metric units.
