Performance Demo

G10L Low Feed Rate Stability Demonstration with Metal-Alloy Powders

This video demonstrates the stable delivery of Stellite 6 (15–45 µm) metal-alloy powder through a 2 mm nozzle at multiple feed rates with a 10 L/min nitrogen carrier gas flow, supplied by the G10L powder feeder. The results highlight the G10L’s suitability for low-rate feeding of metal alloy powders - such as those used in precision laser cladding applications.

This demonstration video showcases the G10L™ feeder’s control screen during operation at various ultra-low feed rates of metal alloy Stellite 6 (15–45 µm). The footage is intentionally extended to allow close observation of feed-rate stability over time. It clearly demonstrates how the feeder’s electronics dynamically adjust motor speed to keep the actual feed rate aligned with the setpoint, ensuring precise and consistent powder delivery even at the lowest flow settings.
