Uniquecoat HVAF Coating Services
Uniquecoat delivers high-quality HVAF coatings characterized by high hardness, low porosity, and exceptionally strong adhesion. The HVAF process produces dense, low-oxide carbide and metallic coatings with controlled microstructure and uniform thickness. These coatings provide reliable wear, abrasion, and corrosion resistance for components such as rolls, shafts, valves, and tooling. The result is stable, repeatable coating performance suitable for demanding industrial and production environments.

Coating Services
Although Uniquecoat primarily designs and manufactures HVAF equipment and powder feeders, we also operate a fully equipped thermal spray shop with two dedicated spray booths.
In these booths we not only test and fine-tune our equipment, spray sample coupons for customers and R&D projects, but also coat real industrial components for real customers. Working with actual parts under production conditions helps us continuously improve our systems and better understand how they perform in demanding, real-world applications.
As a result, we offer HVAF coating services for customer parts in addition to supplying equipment — giving you the option to evaluate our technology on your own components or outsource production coating when needed.

Coating Materials
Depending on the operating conditions of the component and the customer’s specifications, we can apply a wide range of materials using our HVAF process, including:
-
WC- and CrC-based coatings of various compositions
-
Corrosion-, erosion-, and wear-resistant alloys
-
High-temperature alloys
-
Pure metals
In every case, the coating system is selected and optimized to match the part geometry, loading conditions, operating temperature, and service environment of the specific application.

Types of Workpiece Substrates
We apply HVAF coatings on a wide range of metallic substrates, including:
-
Carbon and low-alloy steels
-
Tool steels and hardened steels
-
Stainless steels and duplex steels
-
Cast irons
-
Nickel- and cobalt-based alloys
-
Aluminum and copper alloys (where temperature limits are respected)
For each substrate, process parameters and surface preparation are selected to ensure excellent adhesion, minimal substrate heating, and reliable performance in the intended service environment.
